America Multi-Sport Hosts First Outdoor Triathlon This Season


The First Outdoor Triathlon in Indiana: America Multi-Sport is proud to announce the first event of the our triathlon season, the Muncie May Triathlon.

Presented by American Health Network – Bone & Spine, this May 11th, will start and finish at the Prairie Creek Reservoir at Selma, Indiana. The long course triathlon with distances of 1.5 km swim, 41.2 km bike and 10 km run will also include a Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon, a 5k, and an aquabike on the same day using most of the same courses.

There will be no race day registration. Online is open until Thursday. The race will be full at 400 athletes.

The Prairie Creek will have restricted access from 7:30am to 10:30am.

Our commitment to excellence comes from a long history of race direction. Steve Tomboni, race organizer, has served as the Race Director of the 1996 ITU/Muncie Long Course World Championship & 2002 USAT Long Course National Championships. He has is an experienced triathlete in his own right, having finished 7 half distance triathlons.

America Multi-Sport is the largest provider of triathlon in Indiana and one of the largest 30th in the United States.

Be part of the Triton Brewing Indiana Triathlon Series: America Multi-Sport adds the Muncie May Triathlon to the 10 race 2013 Triton Brewing Indiana Triathlon Series including a host of Sprint and Olympic triathlons, Duathlons and Aquabikes.

Next up will be the Lawrence Triathlon on May 18th at Lawrence, Indiana.
